Houston DAMA Member:
Details for the Q2 Houston DAMA meeting have been finalized and we’ve again got two local speakers. First, following on our topic from Q4 on Agile Data Warehousing with Ralph Hughes, and Q1 where Kent Graziano covered the Hyper Normalized modeling component of Ralph’s talk, Ken Dunn asked if I would continue the theme with Hyper Generic Modeling. After that, we are fortunate to have local data scientist Francisco Sanchez from Swift Energy Company providing us with an introduction to data science and describing the difference between a data scientist, statistician, and other roles in the field.
Please block out the time on your calendar and RSVP if you think you’ll be coming. Please post it around your work area to see if we can recruit some new members or email it to colleagues you think might be interested. We hope to see you there and feel free to bring a friend!
